Something for the Weekend: Clocks Go Back

On Sunday 30th October the clocks go back at 2.am and we will gain an extra hour.  Just like our Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group (IWDIG)  project earlier this year when the clocks sprung forward , lets capture ‘The Hour’ as a snapshot in time.

On Sunday as British Summer Time ends, choose any hour capture some photos and post them to our IWDIG Facebook Page Link or New IWDIG Flickr Photo Group Link.   For those photographers without a Facebook or Flickr account, capture some images from your chosen hour and send your images via email to IWDIG Continue Reading »

IWDIG Photographer Ian Mitchell in Niton On Cuba

Our own Ian Mitchell LRPS has been invited to regale members of Niton & District Camera Club with an interesting, if not cultural, photographic travelogue of his many visits to Cuba.

Not only an accomplished photographer but well known Isle of Wight Angel Radio presenter, Ian first visited Cuba in April 1997.

IWDIG Man From Ventnor Antipodean Journey Part 1

As most of us are aware IWDIG photographer, our man from Ventnor Colin Haygarth recently embarked on a 5 week journey to Australia.
