Standard Membership [£5.00 annually  + £2.50* per meeting]

• Member’s will be assigned monthly tasks covering a variety of photographic genres. All task images to be submitted as jpg files for projection. Entries from digital cameras or conventional film scanned into digital format are acceptable. The group will provide a critique of all images submitted but no marks will be awarded

• Selected images to be submitted for Local/National exhibitions of members work including display on IWDIG website

• Access to ‘member’s only’ area on IWDIG website to allow download of tutorial PDF files

• Regular News Updates via email

• Access to online forum, The Digital Foyer, to discuss photographic issues and share ideas with other members. Images may be ‘hotlinked’ into the Foyer for comments and critique

• All member’s work to be entered in external inter-club and online photographic competitions when appropriate. Member’s will decide on submissions and members not having an image entered will take priority in the following competition

• Members will be encouraged and supported in gaining recognised photographic qualifications from the Royal Photographic Society and other organisations

• Expert led discussion groups covering all areas of digital imaging & photography, image manipulation & editing, printing techniques and computing. Where appropriate downloadable PDF files will be available

• Tutorial sessions in camera use & photography, imaging software and computing, including management & house keeping. Where appropriate downloadable PDF files will be available

• Provide portrait/studio sessions and outside photographic challenges in addition to normal weekly meetings

• Guest speakers/presenters - all presentation images to be projected digitally

• Viewing of professional photographer’s images and discussion of how images were taken, lighting techniques and the merits of the image including comments from group members

• Discounted monitor calibration available to club members

* There is no annual fee for anyone under 16 years of age and their meeting subscription is £1.50. The IWDIG runs 50 weeks per year plus extra sessions. Online 24/7-365
