Offering more than 30 exhibitions and over 30 recreational events, Guernsey Photography Festival 2011 has announced the launch of their annual photography competition.

The theme for this year is ‘JOURNEY’.  This competition is open to all photographers wherever you live.

The judges will be looking for a coherent portfolio of at least 5 images with a strong artistic vision on the theme of ‘Journey’. There is no restriction on how the theme can be interpreted.

The winner will receive £5,000 (sponsored by Generali Worldwide and PPF Partners) to be used to produce a portfolio of a minimum of 15 photographs on the subject ‘Journey’ for exhibition at the 2012 Festival.

There is an entry fee of £10, and the closing date for this competition is 30th June 2011.  Read More click here
