Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group Photographers created a picture perfect photographic record of Island community celebrations during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Over 400 images were taken throughout the extended weekend and can be viewed on our Isle of Wight Photo Agency website.

It was a very good start in the ‘capture and keep’ ethos during UK National Photography Month.

From the Cool Britannia Parade in Ryde and Appley Park, jolly good entertainment in Freshwater, to a nautical feel in Cowes and Bembridge.  In East Cowes the former Queen Victoria celebrated a re-enactment of her own Diamond Jubilee with hundreds of subjects at her favourite Royal residence of Osborne House.
