Good news for stereoscopic photography fans, Brian May is visiting the Isle of Wight to interact with visitors in his 3D A Village Lost and Found Exhibition at Dimbola Museum.

Brian May will be at Dimbola Lodge today Monday 18th July from 4.00 to 5pm, to meet visitors to the museum and to autograph the book that accompanies the exhibition A Village Lost and Found.

*Please note as you will see from the pictures below this event is a book signing to coincide with the Village Lost and Found Exhibition  and is photography related.

The exhibition is on display in the Seminar room until  25th September and Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group photographers,  did not mind relocating our weekly meeting into Dimbola Tearoom.

In the book, Brian May and photographic historian Elena Vidal present an exhaustive study of the 1850s stereoscopic photographic series “Scenes in Our Village” by T R Williams. With over 50 images, along with extensive related material, including many corresponding photographs of the village as it is today, the authors present a fascinating insight into a village lost and found.
