Following the announcement of Photo Walks R Us last year, and our subsequent successful second Isle of Wight Worldwide Photo Walk 2012, we are pleased to announce another Photo Walk will take place on Sunday 28th October 2012 11.30am-2pm.
*Update: We will be meeting outside the Guildhall in Newport. Insurance/legal purposes dictate, you must register your interest by Saturday 27th October.
If you fancy a challenge and would like to take part please contact Gary @IWDIG via email on this link.
Taking place during the Isle of Wight Walking Festival Autumn Weekend the location will remain as the title suggests a ‘Mystery’ until a few days before, but the activity is FREE and open for anyone with or without a camera.
Our ‘Photo Walks’ are very popular on the Island.
Isle of Wight Photo Walks
The outdoor pursuit our third ‘amiable amble’ this year, is suitable for Mobile Phone, Compact, Bridge and DSLR users and not limited to Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group (IWDIG) members, anyone with an interest in photography is cordially invited to join us too!
‘Photo Walks’ on the Island for everyone to participate in.
The IWDIG established the idea of Island Photo Walks in 2011, providing photographers of all abilities opportunities to learn and improve existing skills, get out for a good walk and meet other like-minded photographers.

In an open themed photo walk, we do not have to focus on chocolate box, landscapes, wildlife, flora or fauna , but can shoot to a mystery brief courtesy of Photo Walk Leader Gary Early.
-
Our aim to be inclusive, no age restrictions* and we will endeavour to ensure less able bodied access is factored into any photo walk we organise.
-
Our photo walks are researched and led by an experienced photographer. You will be given guidance, photo ideas and tuition (if requested) for the duration of the walk.

If you fancy a challenge and would like to take part please contact Gary @IWDIG via email on this link.
This regular photographic activity is not competition based, but you can submit images for viewing and critique within specific Flickr Isle of Wight Photo Walks and Isle of Wight Photo Walks Facebook Page, please ensure you display a copyright symbol and your name on any images before submission.
